I am assuming you did not turn the pan upside down to release the cake and that that is not a springform pan, so how did you remove the cake without damaging it?

I made this recipe but mine started to burn at about the 20-25 minute mark. It was at 180° and it was in the same oven setting as I would bake a cake, can someone please help me troubleshoot what happened? 😭
